Abstract375)      PDF (852KB)(695)

Objective To investigate the current situation of plague vectors in the Meriones unguiculatus plague foci on the Inner Mongolian Plateau and to provide a basis for scientific control of M. unguiculatus plague. Methods The 2000-2011 data on plague vectors in the M. unguiculatus plague foci on the Inner Mongolian Plateau were collected and then subjected to statistical analysis. Results In 2000-2011, 96 411 fleas (24 040 groups) were detected, including 1657 positive fleas (533 positive groups), with a positive rate of 1.72% (group positive rate, 2.22%). Conclusion Animal plague is prevalent in the M. unguiculatus plague foci on the Inner Mongolian Plateau, which is one of the animal plague-affected areas with the highest epidemic strength in China. Flea plays an important role in human plague epidemic in Inner Mongolia. Long-term systemic surveillance should be conducted in the plague foci to effectively control the occurrence and prevalence of human plague.

Abstract1150)      PDF (70KB)(783)
Objective To offer the new information for investigation, treatment and epidemic situation of plague and to provide the basis for supervisors to make important decision on relative problems. Methods Using Microsoft Powerpoint and windows 98/2000/NT to develop in the specialty of plague. Results It was set up five map layers of plague foci:world,China,Inner Mongolia,Chifeng City, banners and counties in Chifeng City and databases of topography map, soil map, vegetation map etc and rat, vector, aetiology etc.All of pattern, image, voice and character were constituted and harmonized. Conclusion It was set up multimedia information system of natural plague foci in China.

Abstract1011)      PDF (102KB)(715)
Using the collected data of 1984-1998 in Inner Mongolia, multi-variate linear regression analysis is conducted to forecast the prevalence of epizootic plague in Spermophilus dauricus. Two primary factors and 2 mathematical models are given Y=0.8081-0.0190X 3+0.8682X 6(1), Y=1.4521-0.0333X 3+1.0133X 6(2). The epidemic intensities are obtaimed.

Abstract1137)      PDF (80KB)(637)
To investigate species composition and their populations changing with seasons of the parasitic fleas of Citellus dauricus and their vehicle role in plague,we used the methods of trapping and digging nests and exploring holes every month from April to August during 1987-1989.The results showed that there were 9 species parasitic fleas from Citellus dauricus, there were 8 species on Citellus dauricus body,4 species in the nest,6 species in the hole trunks. The numbers of Citellophilus tesquorum sungaris occupied 87.85% of total, Neopsylly abagaitui occupied 7.72%,others was 4.43%. Citellopillus tesquorum sungaris plaied a main vehile role in Citellus dauricus plague foci. Neopsylly abagaitui,Ophthalmopsylla praefecta p. can infect plague naturally.
